Has been proven in studies to improve insulin and glucose levels, especially in conjunction with chromium and magnesium. Important for diabetics, pre-diabetics, overweight people, athletes, body builders.
Most beneficial for type 2 diabetics. Can still be of some benefit for type 1 diabetics, especially those on high-dose insulin, but care must be taken to not overdose on insulin as risk of hypoglycemia may be increased.

Suggested Use
1/2 to 1 teaspoon daily.
Cinnamon complements fruits like apricots, cherries, apples, blueberries and oranges.
Also vegetables like carrots, spinach and onions.
For health benefits only, add 1/2 to one teaspoon daily to a shake or other food, spreading throughout the day if the flavour is too powerful.
Avoid using more than one teaspoon daily.

Recipe: Cinnamon Espresso Chocolate Clusters
8 ounces dark chocolate or 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of espresso powder
1/3 cup whole almonds
1/3 cup dark sweet dried cherries or 1/3 cup dried cherry medley
Heat chocolate in double boiler or in the microwave until melted. Chocolate is delicate so watch carefully.
Add the cinnamon and espresso powder. Add nuts and dried fruits.
Mix together and spoon out onto wax paper in heaping teaspoons.
Let stand until firm, about 2 hours, or place in refrigerator.
