Serrapeptase, alsp known as serratio peptidase, serralysin, and serrapeptidase, is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the non-pathogenic bacteria Serratia species found in the digestive tract of the Japanese silkworm.
The enzyme is used by the worms to digest their cocoons, and readily dissolves dead matter while leaving living tissue alone, hence it's properties as a garbage collector to remove waste material from the body.
Without adequate waste disposal, we die in around 24 hours!
As an anti-inflammatory, Serrapeptase is useful for:
  • Sports injuries
  • After surgical procedures
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Other autoimmune dconditions
  • Fibrocystic breast disease
  • Upper respiratory tract: Sinusitis, Bronchitis, Asthma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Ear, nose, throat and other respiratory infections
May improve mucus secretions, and in patients with chronic sinusitis or bronchitis, reduced viscosity (but not elasticity) of nasal mucus. Improved ratio of viscosity to elasticity determines how well the mucus eliminates infections.
Serrapeptase has been used as a nutritional supplement in Europe and Asia for nearly three decades.
This Serrapeptase is formulated with Serrateric, a superior alternative to enteric coating that protects the enzyme through the high-acid stomach until it reaches the more alkaline intestine for optimal absorption. Best taken on an empty stomach.

Suggested Use
Used for painful conditions including back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome, migraine headache, tension headache, also used for inflammation including sinusitis, laryngitis, sore throat, ear infections, swelling after surgery, thrombophlebitis (swelling of a vein with the formation of a blood clot, IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
Some use Serrapeptase for heart disease and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).
Also for fibrocystic breast disease (non-cancerous lumpy breasts), and nursing mothers use it for breast engorgement (breast pain caused by too much milk).
Other uses: Treatment of diabetes, leg ulcers, asthma, varicose veins, and empyema (pus accumulation in an existing cavity such as the pleural cavity).

How does it work?
Helps the body break down protein and remove dead cells (necrosis), decreasing inflammation and mucous. Beneficial for non-healing wounds or ulcers that require removal of dead tissue to allow natural healing from the bottom up.

Suggested Dosage
Take 1 to 3 capsules daily away from food, lasting 3 to 9 months depending on dose.
For non-healing ulcers, break open a capsule, sprinkle across the ulcer, cover with a sterile pad, and take 3 orally every day.
